To promote the legalization of marijuana through political means, specifically. Yet to support freedom for everyone generally. We hope to encourage others to pass the herb and take action, by running for political office under the LMP. By providing a party, that with it's name-slogan, is sending a clear message of the candidate, we hope to reach citizens that support the rights of other citizens to choose this natural medicine without fear of arrest. 

No LMP member has to use any drugs, but all must respect the freedom of others that choose to use. We of the LMP promote a return to the US Constitution, as it was written, not as the democratic and republican parties have twisted it. Nowhere is it justified in the Constitution that the state or federal government could regulate the intake of our personnel bodies, therefore no member shall submit to these illegal laws. Compliance is acceptance. WE as LMP members do not accept the legitamacy of laws that attempt to regulate our bodies.

All members must enlighten the public to resistance tactics. We as members of the LMP all pledge to support and honor the Bill of Rights. All members do support the second amendment, but refrain from any acts that would be called offensive or terrorist, but retain the right to defenmd ourselves even from Government officials.

 Acts of civil dis-obedience is highly encouraged, so long as no citizen is hurt (physically or financially) by any action of our LMP party members. The growing of our medicine for one's own community shall be viewed as a heroic accomplishment to be rewarded with praise and assistance.  LMP members should attempt to obtain thier personal marijuana from LMP members who have choosen to grow our "HERB".

No member should ever disclose the location of our medicine/sacrament, or our medical/sacrament providers. The true facts of marijuana shall be presented openly, marijuana myths debunked as such. Only minors shall be banned from using marijuana, no member should ever provide marijuana to a minor not of his/her own blood. 

All members must pledge allegiance to our cause by renouncing any affiliation to the Republican/Democratic Parties, which are to be considered "traitors" by the LMP and it's members. The Republican and Democratic parties, as well as the American Bar Association and it's members have declared "WAR" on their fellow American citizens; this is treason. So whenever, wherever, possible,  LMP members shall expose to the public the "traitorous" actions of these politicians. Heckling is highly suggested, "pie throwing" is funny and effective but never, never lend support to any Democrat or Republican. 

Other political parties, or associations, and members of parties, or associations that promote personal freedoms shall be treated as allies. i.e., (Libertarian Party, Reform Party, Green Party, Fija, etc. etc.).  We all must realize this country is going to be free or drug free. "NOT BOTH".  So we as members of the LMP declare our support to freedom only. 

As a member of the LMP we all must love our country, even though many of us fear our (republican/democratic) government. Any and all members who have the good fortune to acquire our medicine/sacrament shall not deny other members access. In real words: "SHARE the WEED". 

Any member who finds himself fortunate enough to be called for, or, chosen for jury duty "shall serve"!  Party members must all know the power of the jury to nullify bad laws. A LMP member shall not expose himself as a member to any "court officer" as that court officer will attempt to have the LMP member removed from the jury. If a LMP member finds himself/herself on a jury with a medicine-sacrament provider as a defendant, LMP members shall judge the law as well as the evidence.

Jury Nullification shall be used as a weapon of war.  No victim no crime. All victimless crimes, are to be judged by LMP members not to be a crime at all, because their is no victim.  We are not at war, war is being waged on us, "WE THE PEOPLE" 

 All members must read Genesis I verses 11-12 regardless of personal religious preference. "GROWN by GOD" is to be used as our motto. The figure of a marijuana plant shall serve as our only symbol.

And God said Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all earth, and every tree, in which is fruit of a tree yeilding seed: to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and every thing that creepth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
